Job Summary: Our company is seeking an experienced International Buyer to join our team. The International Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products from international suppliers to ensure the availability of inventory, and to meet the demands of our customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, an ability to negotiate prices and contracts and a keen eye for quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase products from international suppliers to maintain inventory levels
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery times, and reliability
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms of sale with suppliers
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of products
  • Monitor market trends and changes in supply and demand to ensure competitiveness
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and prepare reports as needed
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products and service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in an international buying capacity
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software and systems
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills a plus
